E. Sari, currently finalizing his PhD in health economics at UiT the Arctic University of Norway, specializes in examining the interplay of health, risky health behaviors, and economic factors across generations. His interdisciplinary research approach, combining health economics, sociology, and psychology, is evident in his thesis titled "Grandparents matter: Multigenerational transmission of health and health behaviors."
Sari has utilized his interdisciplinary background to explore complex issues, such as the influence of economic and neighborhood health behaviors on individual health outcomes, and how economic uncertainty impacts societal phenomena like suicide rates.
His research has been acknowledged in well-respected academic journals, including the Emerging Markets Review, Economics & Human Biology, Public Health, and Scientific Data.
