More than 15 years of experience within sensor design and computer simulations. Interest areas within modeling and simulations includes multiphysics systems, piezoelectric transducers, ultrasound propagation, electromagnetic sensors, heat propagation, fire simulations, geothermal systems, borehole thermal energy storage (BTES), and whole building energy systems. Analysis of sensor and measurement data from a wide range of different areas has been a central part of the research and development activities.
Broad experience within measurement science, flow measurements, multiphase metering, uncertainty analysis and allocation. In-depth knowledge of physical sensor principles, with special focus on acoustics, ultrasonic transducer development, electromagnetism, microwave engineering and flow measurement sensors. Daily hands-on experience within scientific programming for 25+ years, including MATLAB, Python, Perl, HTML5 and web programming. Responsible for implementation of in-house simulation models and tools (e.g. FEMP, VKBsim) and broad experience with use of commercial simulation tools like COMSOL Multiphysics, TRNSYS, Earth Energy Designer, HFSS, Proteus DS and Modelica.
