I hold a Ph.D. in political science from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium alongside a Ph.D. in political theory from the LUISS Guido Carli di Roma in Italy. Since then, I've been working with Horizon 2020 projects, as well as projects under the umbrella of Erasmus+, the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), and the Internal Security Fund (ISF); and more recently, Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, and the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV).
At NORCE, I lead capacity building on EU projects as well as am directly involved in proposals and project management of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects across all divisions. I’m particularly passionate about policy-focused research, compassionate management, and promoting the impact and visibility of critical EU research on the national levels, EU level, and internationally.
In addition, I'm currently affiliated as collaboratrice scientifique with the ULB’s Laboratoire d'Anthropologie des Mondes Contemporains (LAMC) / Maison des Sciences Humaines (MSH) as well as gender advisor for the Polylogos Association and special advisor for Campus Erasmus Mundus.
I'm a long-time advocate for gender equality, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and ensuring the rights of migrants and vulnerable groups.
