Biological and Ecological Effects of Discharges and Stressors

Biological and Ecological Effects of Discharges and Stressors

Short and long-term exposure experiments

We investigate effects of pollution and other stressors in the marine environment by performing short and long-term exposure experiments of organisms to discharges from e.g. offshore oil and gas, aquaculture and deep sea mining, or to global change- related stressors like ocean acidification and warming.

We use a range of response variables such as biomarkers, behaviour, physiology, and reproduction.
