The Article Company

In 2014 the Research Unit for General Practice in Bergen (AFE) explored the possibility to establish a common research project. As part of these efforts, we initiated a group called the Article Company. The task of the Article Company is to prepare for reading and discussions of selected key articles intended to inspire all the AFE researchers, across their own research projects. Article discussions is a permanent and prioritized item on the agenda of the regular AFE meetings. This activity is intended to enhance the academic culture and the theoretical discourse within AFE. The articles are selected among influential references from general practice and other relevant medical areas, preferably noteworthy theoretical contributions which can evoke actual discussions. The Article Company is in charge of strategy, choice of articles and the running of this initiative.
