Jason Deegan is a researcher with a particular focus on economic geography and regional studies. Over the past number of years, he has focused on studying the transformative dynamics within regions, which culminated in the completion of his PhD in March 2023. His dissertation, titled "Regional transformation; between policy intervention and knowledge dynamics?" delved into the intricate mechanisms that drive regional economic transformations.
As a seasoned researcher, Jason has a passion for investigating the complexities of economic landscapes from a spatial perspective. His skills are primarily in data analysis, modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis as well as a sharp focus on policy, applying these skills to unravel the intricate relationships between policy interventions, knowledge exchange, and regional development.
