I hold a PhD from the Faculty of Social Sciences with affiliations to both the Department of Information and Media Studies and the Center for Women's and Gender Research at the University of Bergen.
For several years, I have worked on various projects exploring the impact of digitalization of working life on women's careers in tech-driven work innovation, development and research. Additionally, I have researched ways to increase gender balance in technology-driven innovation.
Through this work, I have developed a growing interest in how digitalization affects marginalized groups, leading me to research digital literacy among youth who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET).
I have also led several research projects focused on video game habits among immigrant youth, with a particular interest in navigating towards groups who experience exclusion.
Recently, I have been involved in projects exploring the use of artificial intelligence in the public sector and the potential risks of discrimination associated with its use.
