I completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Bergen in June 2019. During my PhD I worked on an inter-disciplinary project together with industry and experimental groups. From July 2019 until December 2021 I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in NORCE Energy & Technology in the project 'efficient models for Microbially Induced CAlcite Precipitation as a seal for CO2 storage (MICAP)'. In 2022, I started a position as a Research Scientist.
My main research topic is mathematical modelling and simulation of subsurface processes at different scales (pore-, core-, and field-scale), motivated by applications such as ‘Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery (MEOR)’, ‘Microbially Induced Calcite Precipitation (MICP)’, ‘Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)’. My research includes scientific computing and software development for multi-phase fluid flow, reactive transport, and multi-physics couplings.
